How long new does the news have to be in order for it to be breaking? Today in the era of quick news, breaking news is seconds or a minute long. It is useless to have breaking news. It is temporary news not breaking news.

Why does news have to be breaking? Breaking is not a good thing. I have never heard anyone say, breaking that bone was the great. Don’t worry breaking that glass made it easier to jump out that window after turning on the news and depressing myself. Breaking is something violent and isn’t the news violent enough.
