Why is there no award shows which gives award to things that
matter? I would love to see an awards show congratulating people on doing good
things, like giving towards education (Maybe education would be more affordable
then). How about an award for providing the most clean water (which is
something a lot of the world still needs)? An award for informing people about
subjects (this won exists, but we do not care about it).
We have award shows for lying (acting), speaking in a key (singing),
making something up (Writing, another award which will never be won by this author),
animals (Best in Show), inebriating substances (Great American Beer Fest), and
poor role models (athletes/ ESPYs).
The other type of award show I would like to see is a
Nonsense award show (Something I could easily win). Giving an award to the
Bigot of the Year, Worst Plastic Surgery, Celebrity who should not be a
celebrity, Why were you naked award, Worst prank award, and many more weird
awards. This would make award show season so much more fun. The award pool
would also be more fun.
