The Wastebook



A politician who is now my political hero, made a list of things the government wasted money on for the fiscal year. Not just wasted, but lit taxpayer money on fire to the tune of $25 billion. This is so funny that someone spent money on this that it needs to be its own post (It is also very sad). -Rabbits got Swedish Massages it only cost $387,000. A study which was to see if massage helped recovery, yet the study administrator admitted it might not of mimicked human injury well.

-Scientist hope teaching monkeys to gamble will unlock free will, cost $171,000.

-$15,000 for a Weed Symphony.

-$307,524 for Synchronizing Sea Monkeys.

-FEMA Overlooks Flood victims and decides to rebuild a Gold Course ($202,291)

-DOD tries to build real-life Iron Man suit ($80 million)

-State Department Tweets at terrorist ($3 million)

-Virtual Food fight smartphone game ($804,254)

-A never constructed Eisenhower Memorial ($1 million)

-Why Wikipedia is Sexiest ($202,000)

-Premium Linkedin account to promote jobs during a hiring freeze ($545,338)

-Texting Drunks asking them to not drink ($194,000)

Unfortunately, this is his last time publishing this (reoccurrence of prostate cancer. Get well soon), but I hope someone else picks it up and runs with it.
