One person’s desperate foolish hopeful attempt to make you laugh by providing endless hours minutes seconds of laughter. Trying to bring some nonsensical, occasionally relevant, boldly irreverent not too hurtful (I have liticaphobia), touchingly personal, or any other type of humor that I can write. Lastly, here’s hoping you laugh.

Hiking

I like to hike because, I like walking outside. I like walking up hills, mountains and whatever else I can. I also like climbing up and over boulders. It is quite enjoyable. A hike is up down and around if you are not doing that, then you are doing something wrong.
Some people like to hike because of the views (Alright, this is the most popular reason and a good one. I am just odd and like to hike because I like to be in nature.) I am tired of people pointing out views of snow covered peaks every time they see one, especially when it is the same mountain. Also, I can guess what the next one looks like ... A snow covered peak.

I went for a hike between 2 snow covered peaks, there was a beautiful view of both in the parking lot and then we started hiking and never got as beautiful of a view of both again. Hiking for a view is nice if you can get a better view, but when the view is just you getting closer you could just zoom in with a camera and save yourself the hassle. I might just have been bitter because it was summer time and I was hiking through feet of snow.

Back to my rant, if someone wants to hike for a view they could easily lookup the pictures of them on the internet and look at the pictures. Go for the hike because the journey is worth the experience for you. You want to get sweaty, covered in bugs, and feel like you do not belong in any formal places … until you shower. You feel nice and manly going for a hike until you say either, “Look at the pretty view” or “Pass the snacks. The yummy ones.” You say those silly things because you are dehydrated or at least that’s the best excuse you have.
