One person’s desperate foolish hopeful attempt to make you laugh by providing endless hours minutes seconds of laughter. Trying to bring some nonsensical, occasionally relevant, boldly irreverent not too hurtful (I have liticaphobia), touchingly personal, or any other type of humor that I can write. Lastly, here’s hoping you laugh.

Election Night Thoughts

The Republicans have won the Senate and the House and it is currently their turn to screw up the country. The Democrats had their chance to mess everything up now it has flipped. If you are upset about how the elections turned out, then wait 8 years and it will change again. This stuff is cyclical. The Republicans will screw things up for the next 8 years then the Democrats will come into office and screw things up and it will repeat itself over and over again. Or nothing will happen like this year, less than 200 bills were passed in Congress.

Marijuana is seen as something that should be legalized and taxed. Oregon has legalized it for those over the age of 21 up to 2 oz. on person. A person can also grow their own plants. Washington D.C. has allowed people to grow and possess as well. Also Alaska will have similar measures to Oregon.  I am glad this passed because my writing just got funnier in 2 states and a D.C. The states are thrilled they will be getting more tax revenue soon. It may also hurt gangs who sell the drug, but the tax money is more important.

A women’s right to choose has been protected as well. Illinois will require birth control to be covered by health insurance. Colorado and North Dakota’s attempt to have law state that life begins at conception was voted down. We once again have no idea when life begins.

What’s better than pot, killing babies, and Republicans? Americans’ wanted weed and the freedom of choice and so they voted for it. The people of America do have some power. It is up to the people to unite under a unified vision a light up a firestorm of emotions, followed by some cartoons.

Somehow the Republicans won governor’s races in Illinois, Maryland, and Massachusetts. If they would have won New York then that would have been the greatest victory ever. Taking President Obama’s home state, Illinois, is the biggest win for them. How did the democrats loss this one? Did they forget to nominate someone? Did they try and have Obama run there? Seriously, this state has loved its Democrats.
